CHANGE OF GUARD.

It is killing me '', sighs deep ,looks down, still trying to believe what jostled him and devolved him  to holding that plate instead of the cup,he broke out ,me too,after voguishly wearing  the diadem for almost five years he could not handle the outpour of sentiments,the emotion came drooling down the visage ,which once had the halo of the  heralding sun.

  Then the moment came,still trying to revive from the dilapidated state,the god he is ,

said ,"i don't want to say the last words, he (Rafa) deserves it".and must have thaught that ,it would be long walk home.then his mouth open to speak ,drew air instead .

   Aggrandized rafa could not wipe the sheen of his face , he did not need to, It was his moment , while the compere was saying in stentorian tones , "the first spaniard to win the australian open" ,and the box brimming with exuberance,the twinkle in his eye grew brighter and brighter as if deriving the the flame from lacerated  fed's heart.it was followed by the usual protocol.

   Photo sessions, oh!! dear god , i could not feel more gloomier, camera focusing continually either on fed or mirka , both having their faces in disbelief  amalgamated with despair, i could not bear that anymore, seeing  my hero ,in the state , whom i had never seen really give an expression , exept for the flick of his hair and the grunt in final set of wimbledon in 2007.

  

  I wish he redeems himself by winning(or i may say single handed backhanding )   the French open which has eluded him,and beating sampras ' record this year itself
